Amy Meyers, Swim Instructor
Amy Meyers has been coaching swimmers ranging in age and experience for 5 years, and swimming competitively herself for 16 years.
Amy’s swimming career started in a small town outside of Boulder, Colorado. She started swimming on the local swim team where she eventually worked her way up to one of the assistant coaches. Her passion for swimming has never faltered in the past 16 years and has allowed her to work and compete around the country. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology she moved out to the Bay Area. Once out here she was able to put that passion to good use and found a great job coaching and teaching swimming for the San Francisco Bay Club and Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club.
Amy has been active in the race community since moving to the Bay Area. She has competed in Alcatraz Challenge winning her age group two years in a row; Escape from the Rock, and Wildflower both on winning relay teams. Amy has focused her training this year to distance swimming and Olympic distance triathlons.
