Sonia Martinez, director of aquatics

Sonia has been a part of the Golden Gateway Aquatics since 2005 and recently made the transition to Aquatics director in 2008. She comes to us from Southern California, where she was trained as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and synchronized swimming instructor. She also brings to the Club a host of management experiences from her various positions in theater management and as a training assistant in phone-canvass fundraising. She loves the unique culture at Golden Gateway and playing a key role on our Aquatics team.
