Golden Gateway provides a variety of well-rounded programs for children. Geared for infants and toddlers (six months and older) as well as children ages three through fifteen, our programs combine activity, imagination, and socialization. They are designed to enhance your child's athletic abilities, cultivate social relationships, and provide a healthy sense of balance for both parents and children. Of course, qualified instructors and staff are always on hand to care for your children and supervise all activities.

To make sure all members have the best possible experience at the Club, Golden Gateway has special hours for children:

We also offer morning care from 8:00 - 9:00 am for $6, and afternoon care from 4:00 - 5:15 pm for $6.
Summer Kids Camp
Summer Kids Camp is one of Golden Gateway's most popular traditions. Summer after summer our campers enjoy swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, and plenty of other fun activities. Our experienced and energetic counselors know how to keep your kids busy and entertained all day long. Group games like hockey tennis, capture the flag, and crab soccer inspire everyone's participation. Most days and weeks at camp even have their own theme, from Wacky Wednesdays to Safari Week! And to top off each week of camp, we host a Friday barbeque lunch for campers, counselors, parents, and guests. Don't be surprised if your child teaches you a new song that day or if a water balloon gets tossed your way! It's all part of the fun at Golden Gateway.

Parents Night Out
Drop the kids off at the Club and enjoy some time for yourself. On the last Friday of every month, we'll make sure that your child's evening is filled with fun activities, including swimming, tennis, movies, and games, not to mention delicious pizza and refreshments.
Parent & Tot Swim Group
Playing in the water and learning preliminary swimming skills is a wonderful way to bond with your child and encourage a lifelong love of swimming. Our Parent & Tot Swim Group introduces babies and toddlers to the water in a safe, supportive environment. You'll learn how to interact with your child in the water while imparting smart and simple water safety skills.
Classes run in six-week sessions (on weekdays and weekends) and are held year-round in the Recreational Pool. Children ages six months through three years are welcome to join us for splashing, kicking, singing, and most importantly, fun in the water! Swim diapers or swim pants are mandatory for all children. Family Night Swim
Join us for a poolside barbeque dinner and enjoy a great evening under the stars. The whole family has time to splash and play together in the pool. And on this fun-filled night, kids can stay past kids hours. Check the Activities Center or club newsletter for upcoming Family Night Swim dates.
Holiday Parties
Bring the kids into the Club throughout the year for special holiday parties and events, such as an Easter egg hunt, Fourth of July celebration and swim races, Halloween dress-up day, and Thanksgiving arts and crafts. At Golden Gateway, we do everything we can to make holidays memorable and fun for everyone!
Parent and Child Workshops
Interact, learn, and bond with your children in our unique parent and child workshops. New parents and their infants can learn about all the benefits of infant massage. Kids can express themselves freely with parents through our Children's creative dance class. You can even enroll in fun, age-appropriate workshops that teach self-defense and everyday safety skills (organized by KIDPOWER TEENPOWER FULLPOWER International.) Let Golden Gateway host your child's next birthday party! We provide everything from birthday cake to customized party favors and themes. We'll organize fun and imaginative activities and, of course, we'll supervise pool time for all that important splashing around!
